Here are all the fonts i used in all my pages.

These were either obtained from "Dafont" or "Befonts"

challenges being faced

 In the entire process of designing these magazine pages i only came through a few issues.

One of them being taking photos with people in the background. each time i tried editing them out the background would be distorted or even blur would mess the entire image up.

The second was actually finding content i can take photos of. Luckily since i took hospitality as one of my classes and we occasionally go on trips, it was possible for me to get some of these photos

 change in color palette to match Kenyan flag with a bit of yellow on the cover page to stand out

double page spread feedback

 Once again after consulting with my teacher, the double page spread has too much text making it too wordy which can lose the reader's attention very easily as it also looks plain. to solve this i think I'll remove all the text that primarily focuses on the Park inn hotel and make the entire double page spread focused on Windsor instead.

DPS progression

 ended up completely scrapping the idea for my old double page spread and using images from my recent trip to windsor on top of the photos i took at Park inn.

trip to Windsor Golf club

 This trip is similar to the Btec hospitality trip to Park inn but instead of housekeeping and kitchen work, we are working on event planning. The plan is still the same as last time. take as many photos that are possible for usage in the magazine pages

cover page image editing

 ended up adding a few more codes and conventions of a cover page to make it look better

double page spread feedback

 Just as I previously expected, the arrows were unnecessary, as well as the text being too focused on one side of the double page spread, leaving the image empty with no context as to why it's there. These are the changes i made.

cover page feedback and improvements

 After consulting with my teacher and classmates once again, the improvements from when it was a first draft have increased greatly, however there's too much text making the middle of the page look busy while the rest is empty, as well as there being a random grey spot at the bottom right corner of the page. this was an easy fix though.

content page feedback

 after showing my content page to my Teacher and classmates, we came to the conclusion that it would be easier to make the entire background one solid color instead of leaving a small part of it yellow.

cover page feedback

 For the image of my cover page, I was told that there was too much focus on the background instead of it solely being on the bread. this led me to learning how to blur the background on photoshop. I also ended up changing the color of the masthead to make it stand out more.
